Inner-shredder feeling: both guitars are perfectly valid for shredding/fast playing IMHO. I wasn't a big fan of it in my Modern Satin. I never use the middle pickup on its own. Bridge on the Ibanez is nicer, unless you specifically have a personal preference for two-point Fender bridges. I'd agree, the pickups are certainly different. Thanks for sharing. The Ibanez AZ is basically their take on a Suhr Modern, and isn't really their traditional RG style superstrat.
